Unusual Antique Napoleon Waterloo Commemorative Scent Bottle

A silver plated cylinder scent/perfume bottle, with hinged lid and glass stopper. The bottle is decorated in relief with a ‘Waterloo’ plaque to the lid, a profile head and shoulders portrait of Napoleon, as well as iris flower heads and long swirling leaves. There is some rubbing to the plate, some surface age and usage wear, but nothing further found. The hinge is firm, with good snap closure. Probably a souvenir made to mark the 100th anniversary of the battle in 1915. Donated with an assessment and valuation by a member of LAPADA H:6cm x D:1cm
