We concentrate on sourcing items that are unusual and perhaps not always readily available in Malta. Every item available from this site is brand new, apart from some gorgeous, quirky and interesting pieces in our Collectors’ Corner
What the customer pays is essentially a donation that goes straight to charitable causes. No commissions, no skimming off the top – we guarantee that it all goes to charity
Unless specified, the items are new and unused
The items on our site come from all around the world, from companies and individuals
Yes please!
However, in order to maintain the high standard we have set ourselves, any items which have kindly been donated must be brand new, vintage or antique and in top-notch condition
Please contact us at [email protected]
Valuations are as provided by the manufacturer or donor. Vintage and antique books and other items are appraised and valued by accredited booksellers and antique dealers
Due to current COVID restrictions all visits to our premises are by appointment. Please email us on [email protected] or call +356 2722 9169 to make an appointment. Our office is located at 18, Carmelite Street, St Julian’s STJ 1022, Malta (behind Balluta Buildings)
Should you wish to collect a pre-paid order or make your own delivery arrangements, please contact us. Unpaid orders to be collected will be reserved for 24 hours
Our delivery service in Malta is most generously provided by E-Cabs. Deliveries to Malta and Gozo over the value of €25 are free. Deliveries for orders under €25 are €2.50 per order within Malta and €5 to Gozo. You will be advised via email as to when to expect the delivery
Currently we are unable to offer international shipping directly from our site. However, if you would like us to enquire about the shipping costs on your behalf, then please e-mail [email protected]
We will be extending our delivery service in the near future
We will soon be introducing our Gift Wrapping Service. Full details to follow, but if you would like further information now, please contact us
As we really are not a shop and all proceeds go to the charities we support, “payment” is via the minimum donation noted. When you make a “donation” to We are Not a Shop, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt
Our online payment system is still in progress. However in the meantime we can accept Revolut, bank transfers, credit cards and cheques
We accept returns if the items are in the same condition as when they were purchased together with a copy of your order and delivery receipt
We regret that are unable to provide refunds as all monies will have been paid directly into the charitable account. However we would be happy to exchange for another item of equal value
As we are only a small team, we regret that we are unable to process orders over the weekend or on public holidays
