Description
It is believed that this was based on the 1889 painting ‘The Morning in a Pine Forest’ (known also as ‘3 BEARS’) by famous Russian artists Ivan Shishkin and Konstantin Savitsky (Russian: Утро в сосновом лесу). Factory marks and gift engraving dated 1949. 100% authentic Soviet Union era product from first half of 20th Century. A great collectors’ piece, but for those who smoke, still usable for hand rolled, 100’s and King size cigarettes. Loss of some of the silver plating owing to use, but otherwise in very good condition with an appealing vintage look, See photographs
