Pair of George V machine turned Sterling Silver 925 Napkin Rings with blank circular cartouche made by William Hair Haseler of Birmingham in 1929. The hallmarks on both rings are well struck and easy to read showing the lion passant, the anchor assay mark for Birmingham and the WHH makers’ mark for W.H. Haseler. The company was founded in Birmingham in 1864, remaining in business up to the late 1930s. It was one of Liberty & Co’s preferred suppliers, particularly during the Art Nouveau era. Very good condition overall, one having the tiniest ding which is barely visible (please see images). D:4.2 x H:2cm
