Vintage Leather England Rugby Ball Made By J. Salter & Son, Aldershot. ‘Rugby Polo Boot’ Circa 1940s

Four leather panels and six laces with ‘England’ hand written in gold. Obviously memorabilia for an important game! In great condition, although slightly out of puff! To rectify, undo the laces and inflate the internal ‘bladder’, before re-lacing. Comes complete with modern polished wooden stand, Originally the result of a successful bid in a London Sports Charity Auction during the 1990s and then carefully packed away and sadly forgotten!
