Description
A beautiful enamel and gilt framed bag, upcycled and remade by Cathy White. The finely decorated and engraved detail on the frame is in gilt and cream enamel with the clasp being an amethyst stone encased in gilt. The bag itself is made from very rare gold lace, hand beaded with tiny pearls which are then hand stretched over grey silk. A magnificent antique Czech amethyst brooch is pinned to the front, where it can remain, or be worn seperately. Antique gold braid completes the sides with a long vintage French beaded fringe to the base.. The interior of the bag is made in matching silk, finished with vintage gold braid and hand crochet flowers in rose pink and cream with tiny beaded clusters in purple L:23 x W:18cm
