Description
Bound in brown cloth with a mustard spine, and brown titling to the spine. No dust jacket. A truly facinating book, almost like a little time capsule of domestic life and appliances in 1920, and it’s a pleasure to see such a gem to still be in such good condition when one considers it is over a century old. Read about the home-made hay-box cooker and similar 1920s gadgets which risk being lost in time being photographed and discussed in this book. Original owner has signed in pencil at the top of the first page. In very good condition overall, with a little tanning to the edges and the tops of pages but still quite tight, clean and sharp. Hardcover. Published by Country Life 1920
