Pre-owned. In fair condition, but a blast from the past for some! Book has a price in pencil written at top right of the first page. in ink dated Christmas 1958. There is some wear, scuffing and marking to the cover, in partular what looks like a semi-circular white mark left by a cup or mug, but marked accordingly. No dust jacket. Some light tanning and bumping to the corners. Book appears to have been wet and there is some resultant warping and staining to the first 48 pages, and some tearing where pages 2-9 stuck together and were poorly separated. Hardcover in red cloth, with some fading and sun bleaching, most notably to the spine. Published by Hutchinson 1945
