Pre-owned. Front board has a crease in its centre from top to bottom, and back board also has some creasing. Book has some shelf wear as well as scuffing and marking. Bumping to corners and some tanning. Book has an inscription in ink to original owner from his grandmother dated 1951 and is also signed by him. Fronticepiece is of Denis Compton in his cricket whites. Hardcover in dark blue cloth, no dust jacket. Published by Ward, Lock and Co, London 1951
