Rare And Collectible Vintage Game – Calculator Puzzles: Two Games In One

Minimum Donation €51.00

Pre the days of ‘calculators’ as we know them – two intriguing games/puzzles with circular red-rimmed wooden counters in their original wooden box, with sliding lid. Inside the lid is affixed the green instruction page which reads:
RULES: No.1 – THE SIXTEEN PUZZLE: Arrange the 16 figure blocks in the box so that the sum of the numbers added in any straight line, either vertical, horizontal or diagonal, will be 34. There are 4 horizontal, 4 vertical and 2 diagonal lines (10 in all) which must each add up to 34. No 2 – THE FIFTEEN PUZZLE: Remove the 16 figure and distribute the remaining 15 pieces in the box, then move them one at a time until they count from 1 to 15 in succession. In arranging this the figure must not be removed from the box. In remarkably good condition and a joy to see – and no doubt, to own! Wooden numerals D:2.5cm. Box H:2.5 x L:11.25 x W:11.25cm
