Jane’s Historical Aircraft From 1902 To 1916 By The Countess of Drogheda

Minimum Donation €39.00

This book is an exact replica of part of the 1917 edition of Jane’s All The World’s Aircraft. It is reproduced in the belief that it forms a historical document of outstanding interest. It provides a unique record of the early days of aviation, beginning with the Langley flying machine built in 1902-3. From 1909 Jane’s All The World’s Aircraft – at first called Jane’s All The World’s Airships (AEROPLANES AND DIRIGIBLES) had itself provided an annual record of the growth of the infant industry. By 1917, however, it was felt that aviation was now sufficiently established to merit a special section in which its entire history could be reviewed
