Antique Ship In A Bottle – Circa Early 1900s

Three masted sailing ship with land on the horizon. Sealed at the neck. The base of the bottle marked ‘JW19 (Johnny Walker 1919?). Fading to the whole item, which is reflected in the valuation, but still a fascinating example of this old craft. Perhaps made by whisky loving sailor, whiling away the time at sea; and we cannot decide where the background is situated in the world – there is a church (typical of those around the British Isles) and castle, but the white houses are taller than those usually found along the British coastline.
