Marketing and Administration Assistant

 

We Are Not A Shop is an online philanthropic e-commerce site from which ALL proceeds are donated to charity. Our ethos and values are very important to us, and we are a close-knit group that has grown organically over the last 3 years. We are now looking to recruit another member of the team who can identify with our principles and communicate them accordingly.

 

The position is that of a full time Marketing and Administration Assistant who will provide support to the Head of Marketing. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the implementation of digital marketing strategy,creation and planning of strategic campaigns and calendars
  • Creation of social media content, updating, scheduling and management of social media
  • Identify and implement new trends where appropriate
  • Creation of content for digital campaigns (social, email, display, PPC, etc) including choosing items for promotional activities 
  • Updating of marketing content on website 
  • Organize, maintain, and keep updated all marketing content material 
  • Assist in the planning, co-ordination, and execution of photo shoots
  • Communicate and co-ordinate with external suppliers including stylists, photographers, designers, digital and PR agencies etc
  • Deliver monthly reports and plans
  • Provide support to ACM in her daily tasks including general administrative and clerical support
  • Any other tasks arising from time to time as advised 

The candidate must have:

  • Good understanding of digital marketing concepts
  • An understating of CMS such as WordPress 
  • A flair for design, and possible experience on Canva would be an asset
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong coordination and organisational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Ability to take on constructive feedback and a positive and can-do attitude
