Vintage Children’s China Tea Set – Bunny Bobtail /Lucky Teddy / Joey The Clown – Corona Ware, Hancock & Sons – Circa 1930s

Tea set consisting of white and blue teapot, sugar bowl, 2 teacups and 2 saucers. Made by Corona Ware, Staffordshire, England, it is decorated with nursery motifs and rhymes – Bunny Bobtail, Lucky Teddy and Joey the Clown all feature. The teapot sports the following rhyme:
‘Let’s have a game with Joey The Clown,
Who never cries when he falls down.
Bring Froggie & Teddy & Bunny too.
Who love lots of fun, like me and you.’
Some minor imperfections with a small area of missing paint on the teapot finial and the pieces are crazed. Some of the crazing could be hairline cracks – we just can’t tell. However, a lovely little set
