Vintage And Rare Boxed Le Poker Set – Five Molinard Concreta Wax Perfume Pots With Original Burgundy Leatherette Case – Circa 1940

Minimum Donation €117.00

These solid perfumes were first launched by Molinard in 1925. Made from the genuine wax of flowers, alcohol free and with patented formula, they were highly concentrated and still smell divine. This set features dice – shaped bakelite pots, with each colourful pot having card images and marked on one side ‘Made in France Bte S.G.D.G’. On the opposite side is noted ‘Molinard Grasse Paris’ along with the perfume names – Fleurettes, Tabatchin, Namiko, Xmas Bells, Carino. The pots measure 2 cm square and some have some solid wax perfume remaining; but even the empty ones still have the wonderful lingering scent of their original fragrance. Despite the years, these scents never seem to spoil and each one is delicious! To open, press down and gently pull apart (see imagd). Slight tear to the edge of the burgundy leather fold – over lid of the box H:4.5 x L:6.75cm (at widest point) Pots 2cm square

Description

These little bakelite perfume pots come in their original leatherette case marked to the inner lid in gold lettering ‘Molinard Grasse Paris’. The original case has some seam splits and edge wear, but the pots are all in good order and only the white pot has some very fine cracks (mentioned only for complete accuracy). A rare and fabulous set for the perfume collector
