Two Pieces Of Antique French Black Applique – Circa Late 19th Century

Lovely French soutache applique with a lace cut out decoration, plus a jet button beadwork with tails. Originally used for decoration on jackets and capes (particularly mourning) these are now gaining popularity with contemporary designers. The lace soutache is in perfect condition L:10 x W:9cm. The jet button detail has a few beads missing on the bottom (not noticeable unless examining closely) Book not included. Soutache applique L:16.5cm. Jet button with beaded tails D:4.5 cm
