Rose coloured paper covered boards have title pastedowns on front and spine. Slight sun bleaching to spine and some bumping to the top corners. Book includes a promotional insert describing the plot of the book, and a loose page from a calendar dated December 11, 1917 stating “Father died this date 13 years ago (Dec. 11th 1904) presumably used as a bookmark and belonging to the original owner. There is a signature (owner’s?) on the first page dated New Year 1916. Book is in very good condition and still quite tightly bound. Hardcover. Published by Macmillan 1915
