Pre-owned. Book is bound with a beige cloth spine with ornate gilt design, and pale blue cloth covered boards. In very good condition. 279 pages plus catalogue of other books by the same author. No dust jacket. Some mild tanning and light foxing to edges with some occasional light foxing. Book has an inscription in ink to the original owner in ink on the first page, and an impression of this inscription has carried through to the tanning of the second page. There is a small note in pencil at top left of the inside second page. Book has a satin ribbon in pale blue, and the dye in this ribbon appears to have caused a dark impression on the pages is has laid between: pages 88 and 89; and pages 198 and 199. Hardcover. Published by Hodder and Stoughton. Undated but estimated to be early 1900s
