One of those little Victorian ‘treasures’ which you rarely come across and which immediately brighten the day – not desperately valuable or expensive to buy, but rare as so many were thrown away. Love them! This small round medicine box is marked for use to cure Migraines, Douleurs (general pains), Nevralgies (neuralgias), Grippe (gripe?) and Influenza and when empty, was repurposed as part of a sewing kit in which to keep tiny, tiny antique sewing pins. The box is dark green with ‘burnt’ maroon rings and matching interior H: x D:
