Among his words of advice he noted: ‘A businessman should know who to speak to and how to speak to them. This is very important. There is a time and place to be stern; a time and place to be humble; and a time and place to offer praise. There is a time and place to be emotional; and a time and place to be tough. But as you do all of this, the main principle is this: Whatever happens, you should never even think about deceiving the person you are dealing with. You must always be honest and truthful.
