Pre-owned. In good condition. Front board is quite bowed inwards. A little bumping to the back bottom corner. Some tanning and foxing as can be expected with a book of this age. Deckling to edges indicate book may have been hand cut, and some pages still joined at top. 139 pages. Still quite tight and hinges both still in good shape. Frontispiece is of HMS Bonaventure at Shanghai. Original owner’s name in ink at top right of front page, dated 3/9/01 (1901). Hardcover in light blue cloth with red text, no dust jacket.
