Description
Bound in blue cloth with gilt titling to spine and front board. There is a floral pattern in black on the front board and the publisher’s logo in black on the back board. No dustjacket. In acceptable condition. Book is inscribed with two names in ink on the first page, and dated Epiphany 1904. Book has some substantial tanning particularly to the end-papers and edged. Both front and back hinges are cracked although still attached, but book needs some attention and possible re-binding. There are also cracks towards the middle of the book. Deckle edging to all three edges and some pages have come loose, including the frontispiece. Hardcover. Published by Wells, Gardner & Darton 1903
