In wooden trunk complete with a dinosaur information card. One of the most recognisable dinosaurs, Mosasaurus lived at the time of the Spinosaurus Dinosaur during the the Cretaceous period. They lived in the sea near the ocean surface and were a type of giant ancient crocodile-like creature, with massive jaws filled with row upon row of flesh tearing teeth – they even had teeth in their throats! These truly fearsome creatures often got into battles with their prehistoric contemporaries – the fossil record contains many examples of Spinosaurus embedded in the bones of Mosasaurs!
