Antique Napoleon III Scent Bottle. Blue

A striking antique French blue opaline perfume / scent bottle, manufactured between the 1860s and 1880’s. Beautiful gilt bronze ormolu mounts, with a charming open scroll design and the lid featuring the Statue of Napoleon in Place Vendome. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks and with the original stopper. The lid closes well with a good strong hinge. A lovely item which displays wonderfully. H:9 x D:5.5cm
