Antique French Crystal Spirit Flask In Silver Holder C.1880

An unusual, rare and fine French oval spirit flask in silver holder, with a floral and guilloche decorated silver gilt screw top, screw collar, and glass stopper. The crystal flask is engraved to the front and back with a hanging floral basket within triple circles, the shoulders are engraved with floral sprays, the cup has silver gilt flower garlands and bell flower band over a studded guilloche pattern. There is light surface age and use wear, but nothing further found; good screw fit. Circa 1880 hallmarked with a Minerva head and makers marks for Schweitzer & Fort, Paris.
