Description

Pastille Burner is another term for a perfume burner, in which a small pellet was burned in order to remove unpleasant odours. In Staffordshire, in the mid-19th century, they were usually in the form of a cottage in pottery or porcelain. There is an almost invisible chip to one of the leaves, but otherwise this pretty example is in very good condition with no restoration H:9 x W:8.5cm
