A pair of unusual, beautiful and ornate Silver 925 filigree and cloisonné enamel birds made in China possibly for export in around the mid 1900s. Filigree silver workmanship composed of varying techniques and inlaid with turquoise stones. The structure features extravagant decoration in enamel and filigree silver mimicking the feathers. ‘Silver’ hallmark underneath the tail (see pictures).
